SACARE's New Psychologist!
If you’re looking for someone who’s equal parts kind-hearted, wise, and resilient, Meg’s your person. As a neurodivergent psychologist (with both the lived experience and the credentials to back it up), Meg is all about creating a space for adolescents and older adults to feel seen, respected, and empowered—whether navigating Disability, Neurodivergence, Depression/Anxiety, Executive Functioning, or just the general chaos of life.
Meg’s day-to-day? Once the coffee kicks in... it’s go time. Think back-to-back sessions, walking alongside people as they chase their goals, rediscover hope, and create real change. For Meg, that’s the good stuff—the reason she does what she does.
She’s a firm believer that you’re the expert on you. Her job? To back you 100%, meet you where you’re at, and support you in building the life you want. No judgment. No one-size-fits-all solutions. Just person-centred, affirming care.
When Meg’s not working with clients, you’ll find her at the gym on a Sunday morning or mentally transporting herself to the Maldives (we don’t blame her). Once upon a time, she thought she’d grow up to be a barrister. Luckily for us—and the people she supports—she took a slightly different path.
Meg's also a proud LGBTQIA+ advocate, an animal rights supporter (currently supporting Furever Farm), and part of the neurodiversity affirming movement. She's on a mission to celebrate people's differences, not “fix” them. In fact, her ultimate goal this year is to create a safe, inclusive space at SACARE where everyone can access the support they deserve.
To top it off, Meg scored a Chancellor’s Commendation for her post-grad studies and was an expert panellist at the 2024 Parkinson’s SA Conference. No big deal.
