SACARE’s THRIVE Therapy Services launch to provide a progressive and holistic approach to allied health.

SACARE, leading SA disability care provider, has launched THRIVE Therapy Services in August 2020.

Since the launch of the award-winning THRIVE Program in 2018, SACARE has spent a considerable investment to identify areas of improvement for a therapy service that uniquely addresses the needs of people living with disabilities.

In response to this, THRIVE Therapy Services, is a holistic approach combining allied health services with clinical nursing and social and community participation.

‘We could see a need that wasn’t being addressed in the industry and we wanted to offer a service that took an innovative approach to enable people to live enriched, fulfilled and independent lives. The need was driven by one of our values, we care so we do things differently.’ stated Chloe Kempe, SACARE General Manager of Business Development and Culture.

THRIVE’s unique multidisciplinary approach has already demonstrated powerful outcomes for SACARE clients, and is now available to all South Australians living with disabilities.

The aim of THRIVE Therapy Services is to help participants to achieve their functional and meaningful goals to enable them to maximise independence, build resilience and enhance community engagement.

SACARE’s THRIVE Therapy Services employs highly experienced clinicians with backgrounds in rehabilitation, such as Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, Stroke, Orthopaedic and Amputee Rehabilitation, and management of other complex neurological conditions. This multi-disciplinary team also has extensive experience with developmental disorders, complex behavioural support and creating tailored programs focused on participant goals.

THRIVE Therapy Services are a recognised NDIS provider service, delivering expertise, flexibility and creativity to help people achieve their goals. THRIVE Therapy Services can be accessed as a day rehabilitation service at SACARE’s state of the art transitional rehabilitation property, The Gums in Salisbury, or tailored in-home consultations.
