Laleh has been part of the Executive Management Team for 2 years and is a registered Speech Pathologist with over 16 years of clinical experience. She has practised across a range of settings from inpatient rehabilitation to palliative care. Her key areas of expertise include acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological diseases. Her enthusiasm for patient rehabilitation led to the completion of her Master’s degree where she won several grants to conduct clinical trials at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC). She has published a thesis and a journal article on this topic which is available online for those who are looking for some light reading!
Laleh’s previous work experience includes management of the Speech Pathology Department at HRC and Manager of Service Planning at the Lifetime Support Authority. She is passionate about person centred care and works hard to ensure all clients receive an exceptionally high level of service, tailored around what matters most to them. Being a migrant herself, she understands first-hand the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity, and is a fluent bilingual speaker of Persian and English. Laleh is a new mum and when she’s not at work, she’s busy with her baby boy, who is a constant source of giggles and mischief.
