New Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing in SA
Please see below today's updates:
- A new drive-through COVID-19 testing location will be opened at the Aldinga GP Plus Health Care Centre tomorrow. The facility will operate 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, 7 days a week. No booking or GP referral is required and all ages are welcome. Victoria Park drive-through testing location opened on Tuesday. For an up to date testing guide, please click here.
- To protect the health and safety of people in our health services and hospitals during COVID-19, SA Health is putting in place limits on visitor numbers. From today, only one visitor per patient is allowed in Emergency Departments and Outpatient Departments. This is to ensure physical distancing can be adhered to and to reduce the number of people in waiting rooms.
- A woman in her 20s, linked to the Thebarton cluster, has been diagnosed with COVID-19. This takes the total number of cases linked to this cluster to five. She will be required to isolate in a medi-hotel. Around 70 close contacts will be required to quarantine in a medi-hotel and approximately 1,100 casual contacts are required to self-isolate until Saturday 15 August. See the link here relating to this matter.
